50 years ago, people were frightened by “Kanijin Akamanto”, a mysterious man with a red mantle.
One day a boy happened to witnesses his friend kidnapped by “Kaijin Akamanto”.
This work is an animation with an original song,, inspired by an urban legend.
I intended to express the nostalgic feeling by using the technique of a picture story show style.

日も暮れた帰り道　どっか遠くに声が聞こえたら
If a mysterious voice was heard somewhere on your way home in the evening,

振り向かず立ち止まらず　何にも答えちゃいけないよ
Just run away. Don’t look back. Don’t stop. And don’t answer anything.

赤色と青い色　どっちが好きか言ってしまえば
If you told whether you like red color or blue color,
電柱の影ン中　きらり光る目が見つめてる
The shining eyes would be looking at you in the shadow of the utility pole.

沈む日の向こうまで駆け抜けても　気がつけば
Even if you run away to the horizon of setting sun

背中で笑ってる
He is laughing on your side.

昨日から友達が行方知れずになった噂を
A friend became missing yesterday.

僕だけは知っていた話聞かずとも知っていた
I knew the rumor before anyone knew it.

あいつは言ったのさ　赤色の言葉を
He must have answered that he liked red.

夕日のように真っ赤っかにされたのさ
Maybe, he was made red like the evening sun.
